PRESS: Russia: US contests Arctic to gain free rein to grab minerals

MOSCOW, Feb 16 (PRIME) -- The U.S. is trying to contest Russia’s hold on the Arctic region to gain free rein over the region’s mineral resources and the Northern Sea Route, Security Council Secretary Mikhail Popov said in an interview with newspaper Rossiyskaya Gazeta on Wednesday.
